Your ATS Dance Holiday package does not include airfare. Participants should arrange their flights to arrive in Marrakech on Saturday, May 7, 2011. We plan to have a Welcome Dinner party of traditional Moroccan foods at the Riad (guesthouse) that evening. The cost of round trip ground transportation between the airport and the Riad is included in your vacation package and will be arranged for you prior to your arrival. Participants should arrange their flights to depart Marrakech on Saturday, May 14, 2011. Riad check-out times are usually at noon, however, luggage may be stored for a few hours if your transfer to the airport doesn’t occur until later in the day.
I have discovered one quick and simple approach is to book all your flights with Royal Air Maroc. For Canadian participants, they offer direct flights from Montreal, Quebec to Casablanca, Morocco with connecting flights to Marrakech. For American participants, there are direct flights from New York's JFK to Casablanca as well.
If you are the organized, patient type you likes to hunt for a deal, you could spend some time online trying to coordinating flights using numerous carriers. You basically need one aircraft large enough to accommodate your trans-Atlantic flight, plus a smaller regional airline to get you to Marrakech. It would be wise to allow 3 to 4 hours inbetween your arrival flight and your connecting flight when using two different airlines.
